Posting Group

The Posting Group field is used to indicate whether posting procedures should use the System Default Posting Group account settings or if the current project should have custom account settings (to override the system default settings).

The list of available options in this field will include all active Posting Groups (in additional to the current Posting Group associated with the project whether it be active or inactive).  Also note that the System Default entry will have the tag [DEFAULT] appended to it so that you may recognize it should it have been renamed.

Changing the Posting Group associated with a project is permitted and will impact any posting activity going forward.
